credits & sources.
Pokonook wouldn’t exist without these projects and communities. We believe in giving credit where it’s due.
PokéAPI
Pokémon sprites, types, abilities, and species data are sourced from PokéAPI — a free, open RESTful API for Pokémon data. PokéAPI is maintained by volunteers and is not affiliated with Nintendo.
Serebii.net
Pokopia Cloud Island data and spawn conditions are cross-referenced with Serebii.net, one of the longest-running Pokémon reference sites. Thank you to Joe Merrick and the Serebii team for their meticulous data work.
Bulbapedia
Pokémon lore, descriptions, and supplementary game data are referenced from Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Bulbapedia is a project of Bulbagarden.
The Pokopia community
Player discoveries, corrections, and build inspiration come from the wider Pokopia community across forums and social platforms. If you spot an error, odds are someone flagged it first.
DittoMark
The DittoMark mascot is original hand-drawn art created for Pokonook. It is not derived from official Pokémon sprite art or Nintendo assets. The DittoMark, Pokonook name, and site design are our original work — please don’t reuse them without permission.
Fonts
Display type is set in Fredoka by Daniel Johnson and the Fredoka Project Authors. Body type is Plus Jakarta Sans by Tokotype. Both are served via Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License.
Open source
Pokonook is built with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Supabase. Hosted on Vercel. We’re grateful to the maintainers of every open-source dependency that makes this site possible.
Pokonook is a fan-made community directory. Pokopia is a trademark of Nintendo / Game Freak / The Pokémon Company International. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo.
